We had a tree in our backyard that we needed addressed and the crew had some significant work they had to do to get it out, especially since they weren't able to get any equipment into our yard. They ended up taking it out all by hand without damaging any of the fences surrounding the tree. We had a huge tree that was ready to fall at anytime. When I called to see if they could look at the tree they said it would be 4-5 weeks out. I told them I couldn’t wait that long so I was still looking. They showed up the next day anyway to look at the tree. They immediately went into “emergency mode” when they saw how bad the tree was and said they would take it down that afternoon. The price was very reasonable and in less than 2 hours they had it down (between fence posts with no damage) cut up and limbs chipped and the area was immaculate after they were done. They were here exactly when they said they would be. They took down a dead tree very close to my house and in the middle of 5 other trees. They took it down so cleanly that they barely nicked one branch of one other tree. Very impressive, especially given how close the other trees are. We had a pine tree on our property close to the house, a fence, a vehicle, another house. Kevin and his amazing crew got it down and cut up within a half an hour, saved 3 unlucky baby squirrels and took them to a rehab they work with. I recently had 7 trees of various sizes and heights removed. I am 110% satisfied with the work. All debris was removed which was a great benefit. I had a rather large pine tree by the house which had grown into a neighboring pine. This caused the neighboring pine to develop a lot of dead or dying branches. Not only did they take down the tree close to the house, but they removed the dead branches off the neighboring pine, resulting in a much nicer appearance overall. I found Anstaetts Tree Service after my husband recently passed away. I did not know what trees needed to come down, trimmed or had disease. I was unsure about what exactly I needed from them. I knew I needed several of the trees removed. I was grieving my husband, crying, just being overwhelmed with everything that had to be done with the estate. I was a mess. I called them and spoke with Alex (Kevin). Very professional, and very knowledgeable about being an arborist. He came out and gave me an estimate. For all the work he was going to do, I got a very reasonable quote. I was worried about my backyard being so wet and the weather predicted more rain. Alex assured me they wouldn't tear my yard up. The day before Alex was to start work, I had a family emergency and was not going to be able to be home, so I called to reschedule my appointment. Alex talked to me about the job, and I agreed to keep the appointment. He explained they had large mats that could be put down to drive on. He worked with me so I didn't have to be home, and I could take care of the family emergency, which was making funeral arrangements for a family member. He assured me he would take care of it. He said he would be at the job at 8:15 am. Well, it was 8:17 am. LOL I was very nervous about not being there, what if something happened? My mind was everywhere that day. I came home with the biggest surprise. I was stunned and started to cry. Alex had completed the job. He took 6 trees down, ground all stumps, cut a large tree that was done from a previous storm plus made my weeping cherry look alive and shaped to look like a weeping cherry. My willow tree had been trimmed and shaped as well. He took out some bushes and other than the chipped wood from the stump grinders the yard was all cleaned up. The brush was all gone, no wood was left lying around, the yard had been raked from the grinding stumps debris, and dirt all raked and leveled up. To my surprise there were no ruts in my yard, I was astonished at how these mats worked. I had called other tree service but they didn't show up to give an estimate. As most of us know customer service ratings are falling fast. From the time I made the call to Alex, he was able to offer me advice on what he thought should be done, yet he never pressured me. He was able to answer my questions. I had Quality Service during this whole journey with Anstaetts. His crew of guys that work for him were all courteous. Clean clothes and not on their cell phones. If you need a tree service give Anstaetts a try! He has very nice equipment, trucks, and the latest tools needed to do the job correctly. The way he keeps his trucks and equipment is a reflection of him and his company, you don't have to do a thing once the guys get there, they do it. I couldn't be more pleased with the work that was done for me. Alex is a special person to me. He took time to talk to me when I needed someone because of my husband's passing and my pain. He treated me with so much kindness and compassion and kept assuring me he would take care of the job. He did exactly what he had stated to me. Respond to my request for an estimate very promptly. Came to my home the same day and provided estimate. The crew worked together and removed a 65’ tree situated between two houses that also involve power lines. It was amazing to watch them climb the tree and remove limbs and large branches and then fell the tree flawlessly. The other tree was trimmed and thinned and has never looked so good. Anstaett’s Tree Service took a huge water maple down in our back yard that had a very large inclusion at the base of the trunk. He mentioned that it was eventually going to cause a problem and could possibly cause a threat of a huge lead to fall on our house. I recently had 7 trees of various sizes and heights removed. I am 110% satisfied with the work. All debris was removed which was a great benefit. I had a rather large pine tree by the house which had grown into a neighboring pine. This caused the neighboring pine to develop a lot of dead or dying branches. Not only did they take down the tree close to the house, but they removed the dead branches off the neighboring pine, resulting in a much nicer appearance overall. We had a giant tree in the backyard that had about 5 large trees growing out of the one huge stump, during a storm one huge section of the tree fell. I knew it was dangerous for our kids and had seen Kevin (Alex’s) reviews and all of his videos of his work on Facebook. After reading the reviews I felt confident that he would be perfect for the job. I messaged him and he came out the next day to do a quote. Not only did he take care of the giant tree but he also said they could take care of all of the weeds/small trees/honeysuckle going along our back and side fence lines. The lady who lived here before us was in a gardening club and I have not been able to keep up with all of her plants in the backyard. Kevin (Alex) and his team gave us an amazing price to get it all cleaned up, came out, even in the middle of tornado weather, they didn’t cancel on me, got it done in between the storms, put mats down for my car and their equipment to protect the yard, they used heavy duty, professional equipment, meaning they got a huge job done in a matter of hours, they got here at 8:30am and were gone by 2pm. I was shocked at how quick these guys worked. We had 3 very large sweet gum trees removed. They were right along the edge of the road in our subdivision. The team from Anstaett treated us fairly and quickly! They started at 8 AM and all tress were cut down and hauled away by 12:30! They not only cleaned our yard up but the surrounding neighbors yards, street and sidewalks as well. This includes all of the sweet gums that had fallen all over. The team was knowledgeable and experienced. Every tree went exactly as they planned for it to fall. There have been other companies out and none of the others could tell what kind of tree is in our front yard because it's bare right now. This is the first company that could tell us what it is. Kevin and his crew did an outstanding job. Kevin responded to my text request very quickly and was willing to come over and give me an estimate sooner than I was ready. He was able to fit this non-emergency job into his schedule 11 days later (Thanksgiving fell in the middle of this.) It was s a tricky job due to the location of the tree which wasn’t accessible for crane use. Safety was obviously a concern of theirs, not only for themselves but also my property. We recently moved into a new home and it had a red oak doing poorly due to previous owners damaging the root system. How do I know this? Because when Anstaetts tree service came out he knew exactly why the tree was dieing and was incredibly knowledgeable and informative in giving his quote. This was an adult red oak tree that was dropping limbs and was threatening a propane tank, shed, and our home. It was sad to see it go but I was happy to have such a good team take care of it. I received a reco for Anstaetts from 2 neighbors and I'm glad I called them. Kevin and his crew removed 2 trees (40' pine next to house and 30' ash) and trimmed several others for me. During his initial visit to provide a quote, he was polite, informative and most importantly did NOT go for a money grab. I had several Emerald Ash trees that I have been treating for 10+ years which started to shed limbs. I expressed concern to him about them, he carefully looked them over and suggested trimming some of the dead branches vs. cutting the trees down. That's honesty vs. greed!!! He clearly pointed out some landscaping that would unavoidably receive some damage because of the proximity to the trees and absolute need to traverse it with his equipment so I could make an informed decision. He was very communicative prior to the job, providing timing updates based on weather and even sent me pictures of heavy duty pads he would use to further protect my yard from all the rain we had. Kevin and crew were efficient and were careful of my landscaping as much as possible. They cleaned up all the cuttings and even raked our yard better than what it looked like when they showed up. If I could give Anstaett Tree more than 5 stars I would! Can’t say enough how impressed we were with Alex and his crew. From his quick response to our inquiry, stopping by the same day to look at our trees and giving us a quote, Alex gave us his honest opinion about a tree we had originally only wanted a limp removed. Informed us the tree was in bad shape and in danger of hitting our house. Turns out he was correct, tree was almost completely rotted inside and it was a matter of time before it most likely fell on our deck and house. We were impressed with Anstaetts Tree Service. Kevin came to our house the same day I asked about getting an estimate, and we were scheduled a week later. I hired another company a few years back and although they did an OK job, now I know what an amazing job looks like. These guys are extremely professional, work quickly and efficiently, very reasonably priced, and pay attention to detail. They did a wonderful job of cleaning everything up after they were done. His team does great work and is fairly priced and is willing to give multiple pricing options if you aren’t quite sure how much work you want done. When grinding one of our stumps he discovered a wasp nest. He put on his bee suite and got the job done. He let me know there was a nest there after he already finished the job. I feel like this is going above and beyond. On another occasion he took down a tree for us that was right next to a fence & power line and leaning into our neighbors property right over their shed. Anstaetts Tree Service was a Great company to get our tree removal and pruning/trimming completed. Kevin was professional, easy to work with and his communication was great. He called shortly after I reached out for an estimate and was at our house the next day. He was very upfront, helpful, open and honest about everything. We had some weather come up the day we were scheduled for our project. He reached out several days ahead to communicate and check in about the plan if weather would keep them from being able to come out. He checked in the morning of and was quick to reschedule because the weather was not safe for him and his crew. He was out 2 days later and punctual. He checked in to ensure we were still on the same page and was able to add an additional tree take down that we hadn’t originally discussed. Impressive from first contact to the incredible work Kevin and his men did for us. They took out a large, tall hollow tree on a hillside leaning toward our cabin, a large limb twisted and caught in trees at a 90deg angle near the cabin and several other trees that endangered our cabin in the event of high winds. The crew moved all the logs to an area on our property easy for us to use. Their cleanup is remarkable - there’s literally no gouges in our yard. I had a huge tree that one of the big limbs split. It didn’t fall but the crack that kept getting bigger and bigger. If it had fallen it would have landed on my neighbors shed. He mentioned if a job ended early, he could come sooner. The very next day, they were available later in the day. We had 2 large precarious trees. Cheaper than everyone else and I was amazed that they were setup removed a birch tree and 3 70 ft oaks in like 5 hrs with no debris left behind that’s right like 5 hrs of work and they were all gone. His communication was excellent and he not only removed the limb I was concerned about but, after consulting with me, others that could have been a problem later on. Had Anstaetts Tree service drop a couple trees for me and I was absolutely floored by their performance. They arrived early, took little time to ensure the job would be done safely then got it done faster than I wouldve ever imagined the job to take. 5 out of 5 if I could give them more I would!!! absolutely recommended to anybody and everybody needing any tree work. We thought about having a tree taken out of our wood line that was in a wet area and could have eventually fallen on our house. He came and checked it out, cut it down the next day.
