Kevin and his crew did an outstanding job. Kevin responded to my text request very quickly and was willing to come over and give me an estimate sooner than I was ready. He was able to fit this non-emergency job into his schedule 11 days later (Thanksgiving fell in the middle of this.) It was s a tricky job due to the location of the tree which wasn’t accessible for crane use. Safety was obviously a concern of theirs, not only for themselves but also my property. They did a great job of not tearing up my yard or destroying my fence. I will definitely use them in the future if I have tree needs. I loved the GoPro video Kevin took of the whole process. Our 6 month-old kitten got stuck in a 60 feet high in an 100 feet high tree. I called multiple different people that could not offer help, but as soon as I got in contact with Kevin he was extremely nice and helpful, even though he was on Vacation. He offered for Chris to come to our house and help get our kitten out of the tree. Chris came fast, was very friendly, and rescued our little fur baby! Kevin and crew (John, Luke, and Chris if I remember correctly) showed up on time and ready to hit the sawdust. As Kevin was to leave for some much-needed time with family, he and his team made sure everyone was on the same page. When Kevin headed out it was right to work for the crew. We had some storm damage to several trees that had an argument with our outbuilding. The crew was safe, courteous, and efficient. They were there the better part of the day and when they left it was hard to tell anyone had been there (except for the mess being gone). They went above and beyond what was expected. If I could give Anstaett Tree more than 5 stars I would! Can’t say enough how impressed we were with Alex and his crew. From his quick response to our inquiry, stopping by the same day to look at our trees and giving us a quote, Alex gave us his honest opinion about a tree we had originally only wanted a limp removed. Informed us the tree was in bad shape and in danger of hitting our house. Turns out he was correct, tree was almost completely rotted inside and it was a matter of time before it most likely fell on our deck and house. Alex was in constant contact with us as weather didn’t cooperate for our original date, called to come and check the wetness of our yard before deciding on another date to do the work as to make sure his equipment wouldn’t tear up the yard. Amazing service from the consultation to the finished work. During the consultation visit, there was a dangerous branch hanging over my kids play area- instead of waiting to remove when the rest of the work was scheduled, they stopped the consultation and addressed the safety concern immediately to make sure my yard was safe. We had our trees pruned and some removed last fall and this company did a beyond excellent job. Everything from the initial consult, to communication before, during and after the job, and the fair price was beyond compare. They were careful to protect our property, were super friendly and explained everything thoroughly, and did not stop until they had everything cleaned up perfectly and were satisfied with a job well done. The trees they removed were absolutely a necessary removal and when the remnants of a hurricane hit our area the next day, I couldn’t be more happy that we trusted their advice for removal. If those trees had remained during that storm, we would have absolutely had property damage. This company has all 5 star reviews for a reason. Anstaetts Tree Service was a Great company to get our tree removal and pruning/trimming completed. Kevin was professional, easy to work with and his communication was great. He called shortly after I reached out for an estimate and was at our house the next day. He was very upfront, helpful, open and honest about everything. We had some weather come up the day we were scheduled for our project. He reached out several days ahead to communicate and check in about the plan if weather would keep them from being able to come out. He checked in the morning of and was quick to reschedule because the weather was not safe for him and his crew. He was out 2 days later and punctual. He checked in to ensure we were still on the same page and was able to add an additional tree take down that we hadn’t originally discussed. He and his crew got straight to work and worked so hard the whole time. They were all very nice. Clean up looked wonderful. You would have never known all that work had happened! We had 3 very large sweet gum trees removed. They were right along the edge of the road in our subdivision. The team from Anstaett treated us fairly and quickly! They started at 8 AM and all tress were cut down and hauled away by 12:30! They not only cleaned our yard up but the surrounding neighbors yards, street and sidewalks as well. This includes all of the sweet gums that had fallen all over. The team was knowledgeable and experienced. Every tree went exactly as they planned for it to fall. There have been other companies out and none of the others could tell what kind of tree is in our front yard because it's bare right now. This is the first company that could tell us what it is. Wow, this company was a great choice for my tree removal and pruning. They showed up on time and the crew was great. All 5 of them worked hard for almost 8 hours without a break. They took down tree after tree without any problems ( they took down 5 trees plus alot of trimming). I'm going to have them back next year for some trimming on some other trees. Today, Kevin and his team took down an extremely tall locust tree with multiple sections to it. It was next to a detached building so it was a tricky takedown due to the height. Having hired many tree removal companies over the years and not being too impressed with most for various reasons, I am very happy to say that Anstaett Tree was the exact opposite! Kevin the owner came out the very day I called about the work to give us an estimate and even came back to strap the tree so that it wouldn’t fall before they got to the work. It kept it safe with all the rain and winds until removal day. Kevin also provided the workers comp and liability coverages along with the estimate for the work. No BS with these guys. They arrived on schedule the morning of the job with no excuses. They are very careful with the lawn and used boards to protect it. Kevin climbed right up the tree with his Go Pro camera on his helmet to record the work he was doing. How cool is that for a tree company! They have very nice equipment and everything went off without a hitch. If you need tree work don’t mess around with all the others. Kevin Anstaett and his crew were the best. I've worked with several other "tree services" in the area but have never worked with one as knowledgeable as Anstaetts. They were impeccable with communication, promptness, professionalism, and pride in their work. Kevin knows many people in the industry and never tried to fool me with answers where he felt I needed a different person for the job. He and his team came and cut down, chipped, removed 9 trees, and pruned 4 other trees in 4 hours flat. As for the health and care of my remaining trees, he gave very good advice but recommended another professional who could diagnose and treat them more cost-effectively than he could. We had a giant tree in the backyard that had about 5 large trees growing out of the one huge stump, during a storm one huge section of the tree fell. I knew it was dangerous for our kids and had seen Kevin (Alex’s) reviews and all of his videos of his work on Facebook. After reading the reviews I felt confident that he would be perfect for the job. I messaged him and he came out the next day to do a quote. Not only did he take care of the giant tree but he also said they could take care of all of the weeds/small trees/honeysuckle going along our back and side fence lines. The lady who lived here before us was in a gardening club and I have not been able to keep up with all of her plants in the backyard. Kevin (Alex) and his team gave us an amazing price to get it all cleaned up, came out, even in the middle of tornado weather, they didn’t cancel on me, got it done in between the storms, put mats down for my car and their equipment to protect the yard, they used heavy duty, professional equipment, meaning they got a huge job done in a matter of hours, they got here at 8:30am and were gone by 2pm. I was shocked at how quick these guys worked. Not only did they get the job done, but they also cleaned up just as well, there were hardly any wood chips left behind and we are sooooo excited to have a huge open backyard. I received a reco for Anstaetts from 2 neighbors and I'm glad I called them. Kevin and his crew removed 2 trees (40' pine next to house and 30' ash) and trimmed several others for me. During his initial visit to provide a quote, he was polite, informative and most importantly did NOT go for a money grab. I had several Emerald Ash trees that I have been treating for 10+ years which started to shed limbs. I expressed concern to him about them, he carefully looked them over and suggested trimming some of the dead branches vs. cutting the trees down. That's honesty vs. greed!!! He clearly pointed out some landscaping that would unavoidably receive some damage because of the proximity to the trees and absolute need to traverse it with his equipment so I could make an informed decision. He was very communicative prior to the job, providing timing updates based on weather and even sent me pictures of heavy duty pads he would use to further protect my yard from all the rain we had. Kevin and crew were efficient and were careful of my landscaping as much as possible. They cleaned up all the cuttings and even raked our yard better than what it looked like when they showed up. I recently had 7 trees of various sizes and heights removed. I am 110% satisfied with the work. All debris was removed which was a great benefit. I had a rather large pine tree by the house which had grown into a neighboring pine. This caused the neighboring pine to develop a lot of dead or dying branches. Not only did they take down the tree close to the house, but they removed the dead branches off the neighboring pine, resulting in a much nicer appearance overall. I had big black locust trees - ones with thorns. One branch on a tree was big, very close to my house & was split so they couldn’t tie it off. The most professional and knowledgeable tree service in the city!!! Alex came out on a Sunday and the tree was gone within hours. Talk about fast and no damage to my house or deck and you can’t even tell a tree was there. They not only take trees out but I have a 19 year old Cleveland pear in need of thinning out. Kevin and crew (John, Luke, and Chris if I remember correctly) showed up on time and ready to hit the sawdust. As Kevin was to leave for some much-needed time with family, he and his team made sure everyone was on the same page. When Kevin headed out it was right to work for the crew. We had some storm damage to several trees that had an argument with our outbuilding. The crew was safe, courteous, and efficient. They were there the better part of the day and when they left it was hard to tell anyone had been there (except for the mess being gone). They went above and beyond what was expected. Anstaett’s Tree Service took a huge water maple down in our back yard that had a very large inclusion at the base of the trunk. He mentioned that it was eventually going to cause a problem and could possibly cause a threat of a huge lead to fall on our house. I found Anstaetts Tree Service after my husband recently passed away. I did not know what trees needed to come down, trimmed or had disease. I was unsure about what exactly I needed from them. I knew I needed several of the trees removed. I was grieving my husband, crying, just being overwhelmed with everything that had to be done with the estate. I was a mess. I called them and spoke with Alex (Kevin). Very professional, and very knowledgeable about being an arborist. He came out and gave me an estimate. For all the work he was going to do, I got a very reasonable quote. I was worried about my backyard being so wet and the weather predicted more rain. Alex assured me they wouldn't tear my yard up. The day before Alex was to start work, I had a family emergency and was not going to be able to be home, so I called to reschedule my appointment. Alex talked to me about the job, and I agreed to keep the appointment. He explained they had large mats that could be put down to drive on. He worked with me so I didn't have to be home, and I could take care of the family emergency, which was making funeral arrangements for a family member. He assured me he would take care of it. He said he would be at the job at 8:15 am. Well, it was 8:17 am. LOL I was very nervous about not being there, what if something happened? My mind was everywhere that day. I came home with the biggest surprise. I was stunned and started to cry. Alex had completed the job. He took 6 trees down, ground all stumps, cut a large tree that was done from a previous storm plus made my weeping cherry look alive and shaped to look like a weeping cherry. My willow tree had been trimmed and shaped as well. He took out some bushes and other than the chipped wood from the stump grinders the yard was all cleaned up. The brush was all gone, no wood was left lying around, the yard had been raked from the grinding stumps debris, and dirt all raked and leveled up. To my surprise there were no ruts in my yard, I was astonished at how these mats worked. I had called other tree service but they didn't show up to give an estimate. As most of us know customer service ratings are falling fast. From the time I made the call to Alex, he was able to offer me advice on what he thought should be done, yet he never pressured me. He was able to answer my questions. I had Quality Service during this whole journey with Anstaetts. His crew of guys that work for him were all courteous. Clean clothes and not on their cell phones. If you need a tree service give Anstaetts a try! He has very nice equipment, trucks, and the latest tools needed to do the job correctly. The way he keeps his trucks and equipment is a reflection of him and his company, you don't have to do a thing once the guys get there, they do it. I couldn't be more pleased with the work that was done for me. Alex is a special person to me. He took time to talk to me when I needed someone because of my husband's passing and my pain. He treated me with so much kindness and compassion and kept assuring me he would take care of the job. He did exactly what he had stated to me. This was a job on a farm in Hamersville, Ohio and I live in Dayton Ohio so I had to set this up after seeing the damage to our garage from a tree that fell on. It was holding our farm tractor after just talking to my neighbor who recommended Kevin. Kevin was very thorough. Communicated extremely well with me by phone call and text. Explain to me clearly what had to be done and why it had to be done the way he suggested by bringing a crane to lift a limb off the garage. He was able to also help me by freeing up the roof of the garage with the crane there so we could extract the tractor from the garage and he had to take out a couple extra trees to get the crane in and was very upfront about that so we knew what was going on. Since I was not able to be there, Kevin went the extra mile created a video so I could see what they had to do to get this tree off the garageCleanup was great and he was very easy to follow up with when I had to make payment bymeeting me to get that done. Fast, friendly, and affordable service! This is the second time we have used Anstaetts, and will never use any other company. I had a huge tree that one of the big limbs split. It didn’t fall but the crack that kept getting bigger and bigger. If it had fallen it would have landed on my neighbors shed. As an independent insurance agent I can tell you about the risk you take when hiring a "cheap" tree service. You get what you pay for. Respond to my request for an estimate very promptly. Came to my home the same day and provided estimate. The crew worked together and removed a 65’ tree situated between two houses that also involve power lines. It was amazing to watch them climb the tree and remove limbs and large branches and then fell the tree flawlessly. The other tree was trimmed and thinned and has never looked so good. We were impressed with Anstaetts Tree Service. Kevin came to our house the same day I asked about getting an estimate, and we were scheduled a week later. They even showed up a few minutes early on the day of the job. Kevin and his crew are friendly, knowledgeable, organized, accomodating, and flexible with changing plans during the job. They even dropped a scary, unsafe tree that wasn't in the plan, before they finished for the day. We had a huge tree that was ready to fall at anytime. When I called to see if they could look at the tree they said it would be 4-5 weeks out. I told them I couldn’t wait that long so I was still looking. They showed up the next day anyway to look at the tree. They immediately went into “emergency mode” when they saw how bad the tree was and said they would take it down that afternoon. The price was very reasonable and in less than 2 hours they had it down (between fence posts with no damage) cut up and limbs chipped and the area was immaculate after they were done. They were efficient and they cleaned up everything when they were done and they cut the wood into very usable and manageable pieces for us to split down the road. They were here exactly when they said they would be. They took down a dead tree very close to my house and in the middle of 5 other trees. They took it down so cleanly that they barely nicked one branch of one other tree. Very impressive, especially given how close the other trees are. Kevin and his team did an excellent job! I called him one day and he happen to be in the area and stopped by same day to give me a quote. We then arranged for the work to be done in about a week. He mentioned if a job ended early, he could come sooner. The very next day, they were available later in the day. We had 2 large precarious trees. We had 2 precarious large trees to take down. 1 over a shed and the other over our garage. Both were dead and not climbable. We contacted Kevin to give us an estimate for removing a tree that was damaged in a recent storm. After coming out and inspecting it he recommended immediate removal due to a large split running up the side of the tree. He took precautions to secure the tree as best as possible until he could make arrangements to bring it down. They had to bring in a crane because of its location. I just had a great experience with Anstaett's Tree service. They had to remove a 50 ft. tree in a bad spot next to a fence and along side a retaining wall . They even came out on a Sunday morning to do the job. These guys really know their stuff. They removed the tree without even touching the fence or the retaining wall. I can see why all of the reviews were 5 star. When they were done they cleaned up the yard and you couldn't even tell that they were there. I had a tree from the recent hurricane that was coming up the coast split from the high winds. I called at night and they were out to give me a quote the next morning. The following day they had already set up emergency service to get two trees that were damaged in the storm taken care of And they left my property cleaner than when they got here!! Anything they moved, like trash cans, they put right back before leaving, and were fantastic to work with! We had a pine tree on our property close to the house, a fence, a vehicle, another house. Kevin and his amazing crew got it down and cut up within a half an hour, saved 3 unlucky baby squirrels and took them to a rehab they work with. This company gives nothing but 10/10 professional service! Friendly, professional, punctual. We recently moved into a new home and it had a red oak doing poorly due to previous owners damaging the root system. How do I know this? Because when Anstaetts tree service came out he knew exactly why the tree was dieing and was incredibly knowledgeable and informative in giving his quote. This was an adult red oak tree that was dropping limbs and was threatening a propane tank, shed, and our home. It was sad to see it go but I was happy to have such a good team take care of it. They were able to come out and get the tree downed, brush moved and logs in a place for easy access for fire wood use. Will absolutely be contacting this company for any future tree service needed. Impressive from first contact to the incredible work Kevin and his men did for us. They took out a large, tall hollow tree on a hillside leaning toward our cabin, a large limb twisted and caught in trees at a 90deg angle near the cabin and several other trees that endangered our cabin in the event of high winds. The crew moved all the logs to an area on our property easy for us to use. Their cleanup is remarkable - there’s literally no gouges in our yard.
